From the main menu you can use the Map button to view the Application Conversation Map.
The Conversation Map provides a top-level view of the logical position of the application machines and traffic associated with each of them. The Capture name and display metrics are shown in the title. Each line in the map represents traffic that exists between the two nodes.
The Conversation Map shows in a graphical form the traffic between all the machine pairs in the selected capture. Traffic flow includes the primary protocol for a given segment, the duration, number of round trips, bytes, errors and frames. Simply select a metric from the drop down list box to get a complete picture of how the selected metric appears across the whole topology.
The Conversation Map also offers you a graphical way to navigate across the various application segments by simply right-clicking on a segment to open the Conversation Map context menu. From the context menu; select a machine pair for deletion as well as drill into all other NetworkSmart views. You can also view and export the information in tabular format from the data table below the map.
