Step 4: Use the Dashboard for Quick Results

Now that you have successfully opened your captures with NetworkSmart, you can begin to analyze the problems and performance issues found in your application.

First, click on the Dashboard to quickly get an idea of the status and health of your application. The Dashboard will show you any system errors generated by your application as well as detail all of the application segments that communication was sent across as well as which application objects were the slowest.

This short summary of performance data allows you to quickly understand some of the immediate performance issues found in your application. To further drill into your data based on this summary, click a link such as View Report, View Map or Analyze, located in the top right corner of each dashboard panel.
