NetworkSmart includes many features useful in debugging performance issues found in your application. There are two versions available of NetworkSmart (Express and Enterprise). NetworkSmart Express is a free version of NetworkSmart that allows you to measure the performance of your application. The Enterprise version is a corporate license that includes all of the features of Express as well as additional features such as additional file format support, Oracle decoding, built-in Performance Expert and more. NetworkSmart Components
Your performance data is displayed in the LeadByte NetworkSmart interface in an organized and straightforward manner. Performance metrics are displayed in simple to use components that are designed for a particular type of engineer or task. The following components highlight the power and functionality of NetworkSmart.

Dashboard Summary The Dashboard provides a summary view of the application capture. It allows engineers to get an immediate feeling of how the application is performing by detailing application errors, segment performance metrics and a list of the slowest application objects. |

Conversation Map The application Conversation Map visualizes performance problems in a complex n-tier application topology. It helps to understand how application dialogs flow thru the entire application. The Map also provides engineers with a great way to isolate the signals and drill into a problematic conversation. |

Predict Response Time The Predict component enables a quick analysis of the impact on application response time using different network configurations such as latency, bandwidth, congestion, etc. This module provides a summary of how the transaction time is broken down to help determine where the performance problem truly resides. |

Analyze Application Objects The Analyze component provides an easy way to study the files or commands an application sends across the network using different communication protocols like HTTP, SMB, MS SQL, mySQL, Oracle, etc. This component groups the related packets together to provide insightful information of the individual application thread as well as the relationships between each thread. |

Decode Network Traffic The Decode component provides a great way to resolve problems quickly by examining the details of the individual packet. The packets are decoded using the highest level protocol structure. Packet information is displayed in a way that allows network centric engineers to quickly identify issues and resolve problems. |

Performance Reports NetworkSmart also includes reports to help you better understand the behavior and performance of your application. Each graph can be exported to bitmap and the associated data can be exported to Excel so that you can easily build your own branded performance reports to give to your customers. |
